Hello My Friend! π
We're going to start this week with a 3 tips on how to allocate your time when business is slow.
#1: Prepare for the busy times π
If life has taught me anything lately, it's to how to brace for the storm ahead.
If you're a high performer, then you probably feel a little anxious when business is slow. Not just because of the money coming in.. but because you reach a point where you have to pick what to do during the day, rather than allowing emergencies to dictate your schedule.
Yellow blocks = Uninterrupted Work Time.
For business owners, your tasks during slow times should consist of:
Refining your processes
Getting back in touch with your network and expanding into new circles
Trying new things in your marketing (outreach, content, ads)
... but most importantly, being grateful and remaining confident.
Slow times won't last forever. But what you do during the slow times determine the fruitfulness of the fast times.
#2: Share WHY you deserve business π₯
I made a Linkedin Post showcasing work this week and reeeeally doubled down on showcasing the quality.
The MED Site I've been grinding on π
Make sure the people in your network not only know what you do... but stay top of mind.
#3: Practice Gratitude. π
TImes will not be slow forever.
In fact, when they are fast, then you probably will spend your time wishing they were slower because you're stressed. The grass is always greener.
β
Obviously, do everything I already mentioned and stay in touch with the business- improve, iterate, and make the most of your time.
But that time is something we have a limited amount of. Enjoy the chance to do what you love while we're still breathing.
